AVAILABILITY: Mid Island RV Rental’s ability to provide a rental unit is contingent upon and subject to its return by the previous renters and to no accidents or other causes beyond MidIsland RV Rental’s control. If, for any reason beyond our control, the unit reserved is not available MidIsland RV Rental reserves the right to substitute another unit. Should another unit not be available, MidIsland RV Rental liability will be limited to the refund of all refundable monies paid by lessee (the deposit).
BOOKING FEE : Payment of $150.00 at time of booking required. Payment Fee will be included in rental rate at time of arrival.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: $500.00 security hold
DELIVERY, SET-UP & PICK-UP - Drop off time is no earlier than 1:00pm. Pick up time will be at the latest 11:00am. SET-UP: Leveling the trailer, starting the fridge/freezer, filling up the water tanks and emptying the holding tanks at the end of your stay. Delivery and set up charges vary based on the location. Delivery within a 50km radius from Duncan BC is free. Charges will be $1.00 per km after 50km. Please call for a quote on delivery. No refunds on early returns. Late charges will be applied at double the daily rate.
PROPANE: All units come equipped with propane gas. You are not required to refill the tanks. Please do not remove the propane tanks from our units, if you remove a tank there will be a charge for replacement. Removal of our tanks to use on something other than the rental unit can result in damaging the cylinder, which there will be a charge to replace.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit is fully refundable if cancelled 1 month prior to arrival.
INSURANCE: Includes $2,000,000 liability. Personal contents are not covered
All repairs require preauthorization. Police report must be filed in case of an accident.
RENTAL DAMAGE: If the RV is returned with damage while the RV was in possession of the renter, the renter is responsible to pay all damage costs whether the renter was at fault or not or if damage was caused by acts of nature, (Wind, rain, earthquake, fire, flood, etc). The renter (Name on contract) is responsible for all rental costs and all damages. You are responsible for all damage to, or loss of, the RV, loss of use of the RV while it is being repaired, diminished value of the RV’s caused by damage to it or repair of it, missing equipment, and a reasonable charge to cover our administrative expenses connected with any damage claim whether or not you are at fault. You must report all accidents or incidents of theft and vandalism to the police as soon as you discover them. You must report all accidents involving the RV to us within 24 hours of occurrence. You are responsible for injury or damage to third persons or their property. You release us, our agents and employees from all claims for loss of, or damage to, your personal property or that of any other person, that we received, handled or stored, or that was left or carried in or on the RV or in any service RV or in our offices, whether or not the loss of damage was caused by our negligence or was otherwise our responsibility. Renter releases Company from all claims for loss of, or damages to, your personal property or that of any other person, that was left or carried in RV.
PETS: No pets shall be allowed in the RV. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in loss of damage deposit plus cost of cleanup. If cleaning is needed to remove excessive pet hair and pet odour, the rental contract will be charged accordingly.
SMOKING: There is NO SMOKING in rental units. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in loss of damage deposit plus cost of cleanup. Burn marks will constitute loss of deposit plus the costs of replacement or repair.
AWNINGS: Most of our rental units have awnings. You will be properly instructed on how to use them. If you wish to use the awning, you will be responsible for the full amount of any damage. Awnings are very susceptible to wind and must be put down each night and during the day if it is windy.
A/C, TV/VCR, RADIO, DVD, and MICROWAVE: These items are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, no compensation will be made to the renter.
CLEANING: The rental unit must be clean at time of pick up or expect to be charged for cleaning, a $75.00 minimum. The interior must be wiped down, toilet and shower cleaned, floors cleaned. If you don’t want the worry of cleaning, we will deduct a minimum of $75.00 for cleaning off your damage deposit. The cleaning does not cover excessive cleaning charges. All personal belongings removed. Mid Island Family RV Rental will not be held responsible for items left in RVs at time of return.
RV INSPECTIONS UPON RETURN: Upon return of the RV, Mid Island Family RV Rental has three business days to thoroughly inspect the rental unit before your damage deposit is cleared. If this inspection reveals any damage, it will be properly documented and you will be notified to discuss any additional charges that exceed the Damage Deposit. The Renter agrees to pay all charges in excess by authorized use of the credit card provided and hereby agree to not dispute these charges
